Such a disappointing experience the two times I've visited I've given it a chance but we give up now. First visit: I ordered a flat white and she gave me a black coffee. I explained that this wasn't a flat white and she begrudgingly apologized and remade it. Again brought me a black coffee in a smaller cup and a milk jug...(?!) Second visit: The girl serving was extremely rude and snappy. Ordered 4 breakfasts and 2 hot drinks and 2 soft drinks. After about 10 minutes she walked past our table and said ''your drinks are on the counter by the way'. She then went outside the front and smoked, leaving the cafe staff-less. But she LITERALLY walked past our table saying this, to which she could have given us our drinks, as we weren't to know they'd been sat there abandoned for 10 minutes. After getting up to get the drinks, they'd run out of milk and there was noone there to ask for more. Food came and was delicious but this doesn't make up for the service. The toilet is dirty and freezing and the tables were dirty and sticky with cups and plates not cleared.I really WANT this place to be good, especially given how much they advertise on social media, but under what grounds they have to advertise a lack-lustre, rude and dirty cafe I do not know. We need somewhere charming and local to go for breakfast in Calne, and this really ISN'T it.
Very cold and draughty room. Cold food. Unwiped tables. Staff not attentive. Dirty cutlery. Toilets unkempt.
Good hearty breakfast good service definitely worth a visit
