Lovely small campsite but facilities need updating as they are very small and old. Site clearly aimed at those who love their lake fishing. Lovely lakes and pretty scenery with lots of wildlife naturally drawn on due to the lakes. Slight too pricey for just campers compared to others but if you're fishing then it's more reasonable

Fantastic camp site, went out of season so can't tell what it would be like when it's busy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blacklands Lakes, which we used as a base for visiting Imber Village and Stonehenge among other places. Despite turning up late and out of hours, there was someone available to book us in.We were in a tent and our pitch was flat & stone-free, so getting our pegs in was a breeze. Despite being on a 'small' pitch, it was easily big enough for our needs. There are a couple of toilet blocks, one of which is newer and in much better condition than the other. Hopefully the latter will be upgraded soon. We didn't use any other facilities, so cannot comment on them. Despite being quite busy, the whole site was quiet. Yes, there were kids playing, but this doesn't bother us. We would definitely return if we came back to the area.

A good campsite with plenty of space. Facilities are good and mostly clean, with good showers. Has gate controlled access with a code to leave which is given upon arrival. Friendly staff answered all of our questions. Also has nature trail and some animals to see. A good place to stay for nearby Avebury.

Nice site but facilities (in block 1) are really dated, the showers are so clogged with limescale the jets dont actually point at your hair/body anymore and instead fly off to flood the shower room! The pitches are a bit crammed in so upgrade to a bigger pitch if you can. Only recycled glass.
