Upon moving here 3 months ago I have never received such poor service from a drs surgery. Sadly this is not down to the drs but One particular receptionist who certainly needs some lessons in how she deals with the public and the manner she speaks to people. As a mother of 4 small children I have been spoken to and dealt with so appallingly by this one particular member of staff who has no people skills and without fail is always rude to the point where I dread having to call for an appointment because I know what I will be faced with, someone being very unhelpful, inappropriate with her comments and quite frankly giving this drs surgery a bad reputation which is a real shame!
Excellent service for FREE. My brother lives in the US where people pay hundreds of dollars for a few minutes of a trained, specialists time. This review is aimed at the other reviews who have the ingratitude to leave a poor comment for the inconvenience of waiting a few minutes on the telephone (not even in person!) for free impartial access to a doctor. No the NHS is not perfect, and yes I think a small fee to see a doctor is also fine but can people please frame their views in the context of us having arguably the best health care provision in the world. Medical negligence is about the only acceptable circumstance for a three star review (three stars since the chances are said person used the NHS scores of times before without cause for complaint.) Ok rant over, back to Strictly.
Near enough impossible to get through on the phone, appointments available within a month usually, GPS them selves are alright but at time you really have to rattle them to get to the bottom of the problem especially if it's been going for a period of time as to me it's a clear indication that something isn't right with the patient.
It would be a lot higher because when I am at the surgery it is fantastic but I've tried calling twice now and been holding for well over five minutes
Been my doctors for 16years and never had a reason to complain.
