Absolutely stunning spa. Came in for the Jennifer Young Indulgent Massage, had a wonderful masseuse who was very professional and friendly.The facilities are excellent, and the swimming pool is lovely, with beautiful views of the grounds. All the staff were brilliant, I would highly recommend!
Excellent service. Friendly, helpful staff. Golf course is excellent and the spa treatments are wonderful. We ate off the fixed menu which was cooked to perfection. The room was clean and tidy, with everything you need and more. We stayed there for a special occasion, birthday/anniversary, and the staff added a few special touches to acknowledge this. We would highly recommend this place
We spent a weekend at this lovely hotel, friendly staff, a fabulous restaurant with delicious freshly cooked food. The spa was clean and relaxing. A spacious bedroom with a comfy bed. We were totally chilled out.
Great views with a lovely calm and relaxed atmosphere. Food was excellent, especially the chips. The service was good with a waitress around whenever needed, seeing the other reviews I was concerned but this was not an issue for us, though we were the only ones in the dining room for the majority of our meal. It had an array of different sections in their menu with a 3-4 choices on each. The food was well priced in accordance with the quality food.
Sadly slightly disappointed with the overall quality of afternoon tea... sandwiches very slightly dried, very small pot of cream between two of us for too very large scones... had to purchase another drink as tea served quite a while before food and the coffee was very very strong.. surroundings and view beautiful as sat outside! not complaining but you asked for my opinion! Wouldn't be my 1st choice again.
